Do apk apps run on Huawei Pura 70 Ultra

For this device it is normally, with few exceptions, no problem to run many apps that actually would be downloaded from the google playstore, but in fact are downloaded from other sources as apk files. So an important question is, would most APK apps run on the"Pura 70 Ultra", like on my "P50 Pro", even if they cannot be downloaded directly from the Google Play Store? Actually it's 3 apps that are really important for me: "Whatsapp", "Snapseed" and "Locus Maps". Could they be run on the "Pura 70 Ultra" like I can currently run them on the "Huawei P50 Pro"? Users of China version phones typically install Gbox which contains most of Global version apps.
