The Samyang 8mm T3.1 VDSLR UMC Fisheye II for SONY E-MOUNT is a manual focus compact fisheye lens designed for high resolution interchangeable lens Compact System Cameras (CSC) with APS-C or smaller sized sensors.

Whilst optically the same as the standard Samyang 8mm f/2.8 UMC Fisheye version this VDSLR / cine lenses version featured geared focus and aperture rings compatible with professional geared follow focus systems. The focus scale and aperture have been marked parallel to the lens's optical axis to aid in reading the lens when on video rigs. Optical construction is based on 11 lens elements arranged in 8 optical groups.

With UMC multi-layer anti-reflection coatings it ensures high contrast and natural colours. Non-detachable petal-shaped lens hood, minimum focusing distance is only 0.3 meters. Samyang 8mm T3.1 V-DSLR UMC Fish-eye II provides exceptional optical quality in a very compact body.
